Bank

1. A business establishment in which money is kept for saving or commercial purposes or is invested, supplied for loans, or exchanged. We have accounts in a local bank.
2. The offices or building in which such an establishment is located. Our bank is just across the street from our home.
3. A piled up mass, as of snow or clouds. The car skidded and ended up in a snow bank.
4. The lateral inward tilting, as of a highway to aid turning or negotiating a curve. The highway banked to the left on that corner.
5. To pile up. We banked earth along the wall.
