1. A piece of furniture for reclining and sleeping, typically consisting of a flat, rectangular frame and a mattress resting on springs. Our bed is a king-sized bed.
2. A bedstead. Our bed is in the master bedroom.
3. A mattress. After many years the bed gets somewhat lumpy.
