Coat

1. A sleeved outer garment extending from the shoulders to the waist or below.
2. A layer of material covering something else. We put a second coat of paint on the house.
3. A natural outer covering, such as the fur of an animal. The polar bears have a heavy coat of fat under their coat of fur in the winter.
