Fish Stereotypes - Sharks - 5 - Page 2

Here we highlight some cartoon shows that help set the stereotype for that fish.

 Bruce, Shark from Nemo

Finding Nemo is a 2003 American computer-animated comedy-drama adventure film. It tells the story of the over-protective clownfish named Marlin who, along with a regal tang named Dory, searches for his abducted son Nemo all the way to Sydney Harbour. Along the way, Marlin learns to take risks and let Nemo take care of himself. Marlin and Dory encounter three sharks: Bruce, Anchor and Chum. Marlin discovers the diver's mask and notices an address written on it. When he argues with Dory and accidentally gives her a nosebleed, the scent of blood causes Bruce to enter a feeding frenzy. Marlin and Dory escape from Bruce, but the mask falls into a trench in the deep sea.

Sharktopus

The U.S. Navy commissions a group known as "Blue Water" to genetically engineer a half-shark, half-octopus for combat. During a demonstration attacking drug traffickers off of Santa Monica, the beast escapes the control of its creators and makes its way to Puerto Vallarta. Hunted by Blue Water and a television crew, the monster attacks numerous beach-goers. Sharktopus is eventually defeated by detonating explosives embedded in its brain.
