Robby and Pingu

Pingu is a BAFTA award-winning British-Swiss stop-motion claymated television series created by Otmar Gutmann. The series was produced by The Pygos Group and Trickfilmstudio for Swiss television, and centers on a family of anthropomorphic penguins living at the South Pole. The program is set in Antarctica and centers around penguin families who live and work in igloos. The main character, Pingu, belongs to one such family. He frequently goes on adventures with his little sister, Pinga, and often gets into mischief with his best friend, Robby the Seal. Robby is a grey seal. His name resembles the German word for seal, Robbe. In the first four seasons, he is bluish-grey, but light grey in the last two. He first appeared in the episode "Pingu Goes Fishing."

Mickey and the Seal

Mickey and the Seal is a cartoon short created by Walt Disney in 1948. It was nominated for Academy Award for Animated Short Film. This cartoon chronicles the adventures of Mickey and Pluto and their tangle with a seal that has escaped from the zoo and that has lodged within Mickey's bathtub. Mickey is pleased to see the young seal while Pluto is seen trying to attack it throughout the short. Eventually, Mickey decides to return the seal to the zoo.
