Church Courtyard

This is the Chinese Christian Church we attended in Chengdu in 1984-5 and in 1987-88. We took this picture in 1987. This is the courtyard and it is packed. The sanctuary is completely full and these people wait outside to hear the sermon. We met some wonderful Christians here at this Church. Everyone was so friendly to us. Construction seems to be going on all the time. You can see the pile of gravel needed for some project.
