Abandoned Construction Site

This is a picture of a building that was started but has been abandoned in 1998. They are not working on it anymore. It may be that they ran out of money, lost their funding, or some other problem. I include it to show the basic construction methods used here in China. The beams are concrete with reinforced iron in them. The roofing material is also concrete. It looked unchanged in 2002 when we passed by.
