Noodle Factory

In Chengdu, Sichuan, while riding our bicycles for fun, we came across this factory making rice noodles. The machine is electric powered and just squeezes the dough flat and cuts into thin strips. The lady picks up the noodles on a stick, cuts them off at the right length and places the wet noodles on the rack on the right. About six people ran the factory. Some were mixing dough, others were moving the wet noodles out to the drying racks.
