We had contacted the our friend Allen before we left for China. He offered to let us visit the school he works for in the outskirts of Beijing. The school sent a car and driver to pick Bernice, my son Landon, and me. Here we arrive at the school and a nice young lady who teaches there greets us. This area far out from the city center is much more relaxed and hectic than downtown Beijing, a definite plus in our minds.
