  • Take lots of images of the vulcanoid search zone
    • Look for movement relative to the stars
      • Vulcanoids could move as much as 7.2 arc-minutes in 4 minutes time!

  • Use eclipse observers at two widely separated sites
    • Two sites along the path separated by 30 minutes could see Vulcanoid movement as 54 arc minutes!
    • Independent observations could help establish a Vulcanoid orbit
