Our tour included visits to all parts of the dam, inside and out. Here you can see the giant turbines that generate the electricity. All the machinery has been manufactured here in China, a fact that the Chinese point out with justifiable pride. They kept the entire facility very clean and orderly. It impressed us and they treated us like visiting royalty.
