4. Bridge over the Losuo River

Bernice and I spent several weeks here in this area. This is the bridge over the Losuo River. We rode our bicycles over this bridge. A policeman there stopped us and talked to us at a rapid pace while pointing his finger at us. We listened politely and when he finished I said in Chinese "Tung Badung," which means I don't understand you. A friend, after I inquired, said the sign, in Chinese, said, "No riding bicycles on the bridge." The Dai people often bath in this river.
