Leshan and Mount Emei, Sichuan

Buddha from Boat

The city of Leshan (Low San) has a large statue of Buddha carved out of solid rock. It is several hundred feet high. We took a boat that goes by the great statue of Buddha. The boat ride was a good place to rest after all that climbing.
