18. Bamboo Forests of Huangshan

A quick look at this forest makes it appear to be an evergreen conifer forest. A closer look shows it to be a giant bamboo forest. This bamboo has trunks of up to 6 inches in diameter and some 20 meters high. We greatly enjoyed the scenic beauty of the Huangshan area.
