Bernice at the Botany Institute

In 1985 Bernice and I traveled to Kunming to interview students wanting to go to the Chinese Academy of Sciences Language School. We spent several weeks in Kunming with students and stayed at the Kunming Academy of Botany, an institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Here Bernice is shown one of the Double Camellias by one of the Scientists working there. He was also one of our students at Chengdu.
