4. Dr. Jin Hanshen Warmly Greets Us

Dr. Jin Hanshen had been a good friend when he taught at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon in the 1970s. Both Bernice and Paul had graduated from Linfield. Jin had been teaching Chinese language, culture and history at l Linfield. He spent Christmas at our home in Springfield, Oregon. Jin went back to China and earned a PhD at Xinhua University in Beijing. He now teaches at Hebei Agricultural University in Baoding. We have kept in touch all those years. Paul is being treated for some eye problems and must wear eye protection.
