1. Getting Directions to Hotel

We arrived at the Beijing airport where a representative of our tour group, Champion Holidays, met us with a van and driver to take us and our luggage to the hotel they had selected for us. We arrived on the 7th of August, the day before the Olympics started. Security was very heavy. Many road blocks were set up to check that you were good. Here some officers check us out and give directions to the driver to get to our hotel.
