Melanie Su

This is a special friend with Bernice. She is Melanie Su. She could hardly speak any words of English when she arrived. Last week she was the MC at our English speech contest. We were very proud of her achievement and progress. She plays basketball. She goes to church with us to translate for Bernice. She was named after our Pastor's wife because she is so sweet. She comes to talk to Bernice many evenings to improve her English. She made great progress. Just before we left she was named the top student at SIAS University. Soon after we left China Melanie accepted the Lord. We are so happy for her.
