13. Selection of Wines

The Tulufan winery in the Grape Valley produce many kinds of good-quality wines, among which the whole juice wine is greatly needed all over the country. Grape Valley and the nearby city of Turpan are an oasis in the Turpan Depression which is one of the hottest place on earth (locally called the oven) due it's altitude of more than a hundred of meters below sea level and supplied by melting snow water from the hills around by the ancient Karez irrigation system.
