The city of Kaifeng is an ancient capital of five ancient dynasties from 907 to 1127 A.D. The latest dynasty was the Northern Song Dynasty. The city of Kaifeng is now some 53 feet below the bottom of the Yellow River. Not a good place to be in a flood.
