Kaifeng Bao Gong Temple

We drove up from Xinzheng where we had been teaching at SIAS University to see the temple. Kaifeng is an ancient capital of a number of Dynasties of China's past. It was the capital of the Later Liang Dynasty from 907 to 923 A.D. It was the capital of the Later Jin Dynasty from 936 to 946 A.D. It was the capital of the Later Han Dynasty from 951 to 960 A.D. It was the capital of the Later Zhou Dynasty from 951 to 960 A.D. It was the capital of the Northern Song Dynasty from 960 to 1127 A.D.
