The Stone Forest Near Kunming

In the late 1990s the park painted red signs on the sides of the rocks in English as well as Chinese. Signs identify the chief formations such as "Thousand-Year-Old Tortoise," "Elephant on a Platform." New stones pave the trails and a new section with a broad green lawn has been opened.
