9. Zhang Fei Temple

The Zhang Fei Temple was constructed to honor General Zhang Fei, a Chinese military leader from the Three Kingdoms Period. With a history of 1,700 years, the temple is known as "the first scenery of Bashu". The temple consists of 7 key buildings: Front palace, Side Palace, Sworn Brothers Buildings, Cloud-view Pavilion, Zhufeng Pavilion, Cuckoo Pavilion and Moon Pavilion. The first five buildings were built in memory of Zhangfei and the last two buildings were built in memory of Du Fu, a famous poet in Tang Dynasty, who stayed there for two years.
