Wuxi Guanghua Private School

Wuxi Guanghua School was founded in September 1995. The school has two campuses with 430 acres of land, 80,000 square meters of building space, and an investment of $181 million US. The European-style buildings of the new campus complemented by the scenic environment of Wuxi have become one of the ten scenic spots of the city of Wuxi. It is now the biggest private school in the province of Jiangsu, in terms of size and number of students. For those signed up for media education, each student is provided with his own computer, and taught by the reformed teaching method, which combines media and modern technology. In addition to the modern equipment and living standards, the school, like other Guanghua schools, is strengthened by dormitory discipline theory, educational reforms and quality control.

Among all the contests at the local, provincial and national level, the students of Wuxi Guanghua has earned 600 awards in the past four years. In 1998, 67% of high school graduating students passed the national higher education entrance examination, a rare record for high schools in the country.
