Paul, very good to hear from you and thank you. I was not on a site in Korea with the 581st during the Korean "Police Action" from 1950 to 1953 as you were! Your tour was 10-12 years prior to my tour in Korea. I was the site chief at Tacoma Relay Site - 10, near Kunsan Air Base (K-8) from Feb. 1962 to March 1963. At that time, the 581st was a RAD RLY site for the 38th ADA, EUSA. My Signal Company HQ was at Pyong Teak (K-6). I believe it was Camp Humphries. We had a Long Lines Company contingent of 2 enlisted military techs, and two Long Lines (microwave) Korean Techs. I thought you would enjoy the license plate image.
