18. My Good Friend "Fuke"

Fukemoto and I were the best of friends. We were on the same team and often went into the city together. Fuke and I were part of the very few that had cameras. Most of the GIs did not have any. We made an agreement that any pictures I took I would send home to my mother and she would send a copy to his mother. And he did the same for me. It was a good arrangement and the pictures in this website were for the most part either his or mine. I can't really tell exactly whose pictures they are.
