The guard shack was located at the vehicle entrance to the base camp and was manned by National Policemen. The camp area was not very large and was surrounded by a masonry wall approximately 6 feet tall. The house was very nice and comfortable. We had folding cots and air mattresses. Mosquito netting was always a must at this time of year.
