Large Gingko Tree

A large tree at the bottom of Beason. On the east side of the mountian on my walk down I encountered some human bones, live grenades and a Russian Burp gun. I tried to send it home but it never got there.

Yongmunsa Temple

This temple is located mid-slope on Mt.Yongmunsan, about 9 kilometers northeast of Yongmun Station. What makes Yongmunsan Temple famous is its gingko tree. This 1,100-year-old gingko tree is the oldest in Korea and was designated as Natural Monument No. 30. People will be astonished by its gigantic size (14m), and the legend has it that the gingko tree cries whenever the nation is in turmoil.
