Young Sik Kim, Ph.D

Professor Young Sik Kim grew up in North Korea and came to South Korea in 1950 as a member of an anti-Communist guerilla. 15 at the time, he attended the Seoul National University majoring in physics from 1953 to 1955. While attending the University, he worked for various US Military Intelligence Services.

He came to the United States in 1935 and earned a Ph.D in nuclear physics at Purdue in 1962. He taught physics at Ohio State University from 1962 to 1980. He performed research at nuclear laboratories in the US, Switzerland and in Great Britain.

From 1980 to-date he has been in the computer application software business. Additionally, he teaches computer science at a number of American Universities. He publishes Korea Web Weekly at and Intelligence/Counter Intelligence a web-based news and information magazines.
