We sometimes forget some of the real casualties of war, the civilian population. Here Chinju natives attempt to identify relatives slain by the North Koreans. Hundreds of innocent persons were brutally murdered here by the Reds. I saw a number of similar situations like this. It ever failed to bring tears. But you still have to go on and do your job. The US Army Graves Registration Company then takes over to assist in the recovery of the victims.
