The Long March Luo Ronghuan (pronounced Lew-oh Wrong-hwan) was the Security Chief during the Long March.

Proclamation of the People's Republic of China At the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China on October 1st, 1949, Luo was on the reviewing stand with Chairman Mao. After the formation of the People's Republic of China he became the Chief of Staff of the PLA (People's Liberation Army).
