20. Bird House for Chickadee

We constructed this Chickadee nest with 3/4 inch boards. It measures 5.5 by 5.5 inches. We made the sides 10 inches on the back side and 9 inches on the front side to make the slanted roof. We made a hole 1 1/8 inches in diameter, 6 inches from the bottom. The three slots on the front assist the bird in landing and feeding the young inside. Do not use a perch pole. The colors are for our benefit.
