Falco peregrinue. A rare local falcon of coasts, mountains, and woods. Flight is fast; only the Prairie Falcon is swifter. It Rarely soars. It preys almost entirely on birds. Call is a long series of slurred notes. Two of the falcons flew by during our lunch on the deck.
