Solitary Sandpiper

Thringa solotaria - Common, usually solitary, along streams, lakes, swamps. Told from Spotted Sandpiper, which frequents the same habitats, by barred tail, longer legs, and in flight by plain dark wings. Flight buoyant, almost swallow-like.
