Common Yellowthroat

Geothlypis trichas - Abundant in moist grassy or shrubby areas. Black mask distinguishes the male. Female's chin, throat and breast are yellower than its dull white belly. Seen near or on the ground. Song, wichity or wichy, is repeated several times, 4-6/min.
