Salpinctes obsoletus - Fairly common in rocky barrens, Best recognized by the light buffy tips on all but the central tail feathers, contrasting with the black sub-terminal band. Its buffy rump also contrasts with its gray back. Bobs as it walks. Song, is a remarkable variety of trills, 8-10/min.
