Knowing where an individual bird normally would be found can greatly help you determine that the selection you have determined is possible. Remember that birds can stray and get lost but a bird normally found in Florida is not likely to be seen in California. Thus for this bird you most likely not find it in the southwest USA. If you decided that this is your bird you have seen in Utah most likely you are not correct in your identification.
