Knowing where an individual bird normally would be found can greatly help you determine that the selection you have determined is possible. Remember that birds can stray and get lost but a bird normally found in eastern Oregon is not likely to be seen on the coast. It would also help to know where an individual bird might be seen in the summer or winter. This range chart shows the Canvasback (duck).
