Add the Pectin

Before we start heating you add into the chopped apricots one package of pectin. When you add the pectin it is best to sprinkle it all around so it mixes up well. We use the Sure-Jell brand and have always had great results. After adding the pectin mix up the mixture to evenly distribute the pectin.
