We Pick Our Blackberries

In the part of Oregon we live in is a constant battle to keep blackberries under control. When we first bought our home here the blackberries were some 20 feet high and covered acres of our land. We have fought back and now have things under control with use of our tractor. This patch of berries we have kept for fresh berries. It provides berries for pies and jam and fresh berries to eat. We go out every 3rd or 4th day for more fresh berries. Here Paul takes a photo before he joins Bernice in this day's berry picking.
