After the water boils and steam begins to ascend to the top section the juice will begin to flow. You now have three things to be concerned about. First, that the pot collecting the juice does not overflow. When it fills, lift the hose high, move the filled pot and replace it another pot. Second, do not let the pan on the bottom run out of water. Third, from time to time as the grapes cook down you can add more grapes to the top part of the juicer.
