We have done enough to fill our pot. The pot goes on the stove with high heat under it. We have added 8 cups of water to the bottom to get them cooked into sauce. Here Bernice stirs the pot with a large wooden spoon. As they cook down we had to add more water as the sauce got thicker. Keep stirring the pot frequently at this stage.
