16 Steps to Canning Apple Butter Step 1, Check Supplies
Before we start we check to see we have enough of all items to do the job.
Check that the sugar bag is full enough, the spice containers have enough.
Check to see you have enough jars, lids and rings. Sounds simple but it's bad
to run the the store as you are in the middle of cooking. We may double, or
quadruple our batches. Any and all spices can be omitted. It is your choice.
