Ingredients Needed It takes about 1 pound of prunes for a pint of canned prunes.
We used light syrup.
1 Part Sugar to 3 Parts Water.
We did 24 pints of Prunes.
We used 12 Cups of Water with 4 cups of Sugar.
We had about a cup of light Syrup left over.

This recipe produces 4 pints of jam.
We picked about a 1000 pounds of prunes from a friend's tree. The rest we will dry.
