Fill Jars

Bernice next fills the jars with the carrot slices. Fill to a 1 inch headspace. We will bounce the jar on the palm of our hands to pack the slices a little more and fill with more carrots if needed. She used a canning funnel at first but then decided that the funnel was not really needed.
