Step 12, Set cooked Fruit Jars out to Cool

Here two batches of canned pears and pear nectar sit on newspapers to cool. The next day after they have cooled we remove the ring and wash in warm water. They will be stored with the rings off. If you leave the rings on sometimes they will rust and corrode, making it difficult to get them off.
