Typical Chinese Kitchen Paul has been invited to give a lecture to a government scientific optic institute nearby. Some of our students work there. He was asked to give a lecture on "Cowboys and Indians" of the old West. Before the lecture we had a party with our students in their apartment. This is the kitchen. A single burner stove and a sink. They are making jiaozi {Jows za), which is a dumpling stuffed with cabbage, and pork, and seasoned with ginger and garlic. It is a favorite all over China. It is a popular party food and students love to have jiaozi parties. We love to eat them and still make some here in the US today On to Kitchen 2Back to Kitchen 17 Hi-Res Pic (87K) Back to Chinese Kitchens Page 1 |
