Mongolian Hot Pot

We bought this unit in Chongqing, China. Broth is put in the unit on the right. Heat in this unit would be supplied by charcoal, not very satisfactory in this country indoors. After their broth boils, You then put in thinly sliced port, beef, or chicken in the boiling broth. Each person puts in things they like with their chopsticks. Additionally people will add greens and other vegetables supplied in bowls. You then remove with your chopsticks the ingredients you wish to your individual bowl to consume. In this country you can buy units like this that heat with electricity or heat tabs. This one would be good for picnics in a park. Many restaurants in China and this country feature these in the menu selection and you can choose what ingredients you wish for your pot.
