Put Loafs into Refrigerator

We have completed shaping the three loaves and have wrapped them in the wax paper. We then will put them in to the refrigerator. Now they are called "Icebox Cookies" because they started before the "electric refrigerators." We will also put the into the freezer. What you want is to get the loafs hard enough to slice into cookie slices. We will often wait overnight for this cooling.
