Blackberry Pie recipe
Making Blackberry Pies

For 9" Pie
|
|
Mix together
|
1 Cup Sugar
5 Tablespoons Starch
|
|
Mix lightly with sugar/starch
|
4 cups Fresh Berries
|
|
Pour into
|
Pastry lined pan
Dot with 2 Tablespoons butter
|

Cover with top crust.

Bake at 425 F for about 35-45 minutes

Or until crust is nicely browned and juice begins to bubble through slits
in crust.

For well-baked browned under crust choose pie pans of Pyrex glass or
Aluminum pans with shiny finish.

Serve slightly warm, not hot.

We wrap our pie in foil and freeze them.
